Reflections
Photography Timeline:
1. The good/strong part of my timeline is the way I cut out the pictures and organized them on my timeline.
2. I think I could have done better at having more of a variety of pictures
3. My theme on my timeline is having uniquely shaped pictures scattered throughout my timeline.
4. I used all colors in my timeline. All my pictures are bright and didn't really have an dull colors in them.
5. The rhythm in my timeline is having non portrait pictures spaced evenly throughout the timeline. I used that to have a better variety and to make it more appealing to the eye.
6. I learned how to used space in a unique way. I also used time management well which could be used in other projects and in life.
7. I planned the way I took my pictures to be more efficient. I took pictures in groups by location, so I could take more in less time. I also decided which picture I could take at school and which I had to take outside of school.
8. I think this is a worthwhile project because it allows you to take picture about you, so it is more interesting. I think we should be given the option to group our pictures in a different way other than just the receipt paper.

Landscape Portfolio:
1. The good/strong part of my landscape portfolio is the diversity in my pictures because I took pictures at many different sites.
2. I think I could have taken more pictures at different times during the day because they are all taken during the day.
3. My best photo is of a pink flower on the lilypad because of the clarity and how the colors stand out.
4. I used all the colors of the rainbow in many of my pictures, but the main family is earthy colors because they were all taken outside.
5. I took pictures from far away, closeup, and different angles. I used mainly the same aperature settings because they were all during the day.
6. I learned that you should try and take pictures at different times during the day to get an even better variety. I also learned time management because rushed on my website which could apply to other events and topics in life.
7.I divided the type of pictures so I could decide which pictures I could take during class and which pictures I had to take out of class. I planned this , so I could have more pictures.
8. This is a worthwhile project, but you should take them to more unique places by car so you have more time and better pictures

Portrait portfolio Reflection (3-D): Oct. 23,2012
1. I think the good/strong parts of my portfolio are the variety of shots and the emotions in them.
2. I think I could have a better variety of times of the day because I took them with mainly all the same lighting.
3. My best photos are closeup shots of someones face because they are very clear and show alot of emotion.
4. Most of the lighting in my pictures were the same, but some are darker and cloudier than others.
5. I captured alot of emotion shots by allowing the characters to show their personality and sometimes by taking the picture without the person knowing. I did this because I wanted to get a variety.
6. I emphasized mainly silly and happy emotions because of the people I was around.
7. I learned that I need to take pictures at different times during the day to created different effects.
8. I didn't plan this, I took most of my pictures when I was around a big group of people so then I was able to get a variety of people.
9. I didn't like this project because there isn't alot of opportunity to get very unique shots. You should give chances to use props.

5-B: REflection on Image Editing Portolio. November 26, 2012
1. I think I did a good job of using variety and enhancing the quality of the pictures.
2. I think I could have done a better job of being more creative and extreme.
3. I think my best image is the enhanced eye. I erased all the unecessary blemishes and makeup smudges. I also enhanced the contrast and blue balance in the iris. I think it is the best because it still looks realistic and beautiful at the same time.
4. I think the best website is photoshop because it is easy to use and has many tools.
5. I think the best filter was the one that gave it a rough/ streaky texture because it didn't distort it too much but still made it unique.

Clay Vessel Reflection (1-D): January 24, 2013
1. I think the good/strong parts of my project are the texture and the abstract design because it is very smooth and flowy.
2. I think i could have added more detail because there are only designs on the front and back faces.
3. My vessel is about the size of the average vase and has a curvy yet square form. I liked the abstract look of it.
4. The purpose of my vessel was for decoration but i could flowers.
5. I have the same pattern on the front and back of the vase, and the whole vase has a curvy/abstract rhythm.
6. I learned that time management would be very useful with clay projects. Time management could be applied to anything in life.
7. The design process started with many different preliminary designs, and the building of it was planned also.
8. This is a very worthwhile project, so nothing needs to be changed or added.

2-D: Clay Creature Reflection, March 6, 2013
A1. I think the good/strong parts of my sculpture is the smoothness and the overall shape because it is realistic.
2. I think I could have done a better job scoring and attatching the extra parts because I had to redo many of them.
3. The theme of my project is a giraffe. I created a giraffe because I wanted to make something I liked. It is showing a swilly emotion.
4. My giraffe head is about the size of a baby giraffe. It is the shape of a giraffe. I made it a little smaller than an adult because I didn't want it to be too heavy.
5. I used the cool colors. The main colors are 2 different shades of purple. I chose them because they are my favorite colors. they are unusual colors for a giraffe which fits with the silly theme.
6. I learned how to sculpt emotion into a clay piece and make sculptures realistic. These could help with other clay projects in life. An art related career would use emotion.
7. I made a giraffe so I could put it in my room and it wouldn't be a normal gargoyle. everything I sculpted was planned. I the color looks a little different in the end because I wasn't sure I was going to do it realistically or not.
8. This is a very worthwhile project because you are able to be creative and all the projects are different. I might give a little extra time on the overall deadline.

Dinnerware Set Reflection(4-C): April 12,2013
1. I think the good/strong parts of my set is the quality and neatness because they are all very well done.
2. I think I could have done a better job on my cup because it isn't as detailed as I would like it to be.
3. The theme of my dinnerware set is Phineas and Ferb. I chose it because I love Perry and the characters.
4. All of the parts are the characters in the show. They are all very realistic and show the personalities well.
5. My Perry piece and cup have bilateral symmetry because they are the same on both sides. I used this symmetry because he is a very ordinary character. The details on my cup are assymetrical. My Ferb plate is Assymetrical because i is not uniform all around.
6. I learned that if you use your time wisely it is alot easier to complete the task. This could apply to everything in life, especially projects.
7. The idea for the parts all came separately. First I thought of making a Perry bowl, and then I thought to put both Phineas and Ferb on the cup. Lastly, I thought of making a big Ferb tray because he has a long cute head.
8. I think this is a very worthwhile project because you are allowed to be extremely creative with the theme. Nothing needs to be changed with this project.

Meaninful Sculpture Reflection: May 9, 2013.
1. The good/strong parts of my sculpture are the carvings because they are very neat.
2. I think I could have done a better job with the glaze because I would have liked to put more color on it.
3. The theme of my project is faith because it is a cross and it has my favorite bible verse on it.
4. This project is not abstract, but it represents my faith. I chose this because I want to hang it in my room.
5. My project is 3D because of the carvings and also it would be the same shape if you viewed it from the back also.
6. I learned that if you do work hard and diligently, you can complete something in a short amount of time. I learned this because my first project broke so I had to make a new one.
7. I first began making a 3D step sculpture, but it broke. I began making the cross by rolling out a slab and then cutting the shape of the cross out. I let it dry a little so I could carve the designs into it. I then glazed it with white.
8. I think this is a worthwhile project because you are given a lot of freedom. In my case it was hard to narrow down my options.

Final, Free-Choice Project Reflection: May 30, 2013.
1. My final project is a piece of pottery with my "signature" carvings in it. I used clay and acrylic paint to make it, and it took me about a week to make plus 4 extra days out of class.
2. The good/strong parts of my project are the quality and the carvings. I think the bowl is very center and I love the color of the carvings and their quality.
3.I think I could have done a better job with the lid because it is not very smooth on the top and there is a small hole in the top.
4.The theme/unity would be rustic. There isn't really a deeper meaning to the project. I made it because I want to put it in my kitchen, so I had to match the colors.
5. I think the important elements in my project are the color and texture. Color was very important because I wanted to follow the rustic feel. Texture is important because I made many carvings in it to add more detail and texture.
6. The important principles of my project are contrast and rhythm. There is a lot of contrast in my project because of the splashes of gold I added to the carvings which makes them pop. I think there is rhythm in my project because the carvings all kind of flow together and fit around eachother.
7. With this project I learned that I definitely have a signature design which are the carvings I put into my clay. Now I hope I can add the carvings to other types of artwork.
8. First I spun the pot on the pottery wheel, and then waited for it to dry a little. After it got a little more stiff, I began to carve the designs into it. Then I spun the lid on the pottery wheel. After it was fired I used acrylic paint to paint it.
9. My whole project was planned. I think this is the first piece that I haven't changed anything throughout the project. It turned out the same way I pictured it. It was a challenge at the end because it took awhile to paint it. I had to be very precise to keep the paint neat.
10. This was a very worthwhile project because I plan on using it in an important part of my home. In the summer I plan on making more clay and drawing.
